Pocono tax appeal was founded by Scott M. Evans a certified residential appraiser.  Mr. Evans has been appraising residential real estate for over 15 years in the Northeastern Pennsylvania area and specializes in tax/assessment appeals.

He has assisted homeowners in saving hundreds of thousands of dollars in real estate taxes in addition to many refunds based on an error in assessment. We focus our efforts primarily in Monroe, Luzerne and Pike Counties; however, we have also assisted in the appeal process in Carbon County and Susquehanna County.

Mr. Evans has been qualified as an expert witness in the field of real estate appraising and has assisted in preparing appraisals for the purposes of assessment and tax appeals for many years in addition to providing countless hours of expert testimony on real estate valuation, assessments and the appraisal process.
